When thinking philosophically, there are questions which occur in normality and have been a trend from the beginning of time. People majorly try to think about the universe before they believe who indeed they are. It is man’s interest to know where he is and how he is a part of what he is in then everything else. The answers to these questions have gradually changed over time. At the beginning of the season, mythology was the primary focus while explaining anything. The earth was seen as a god, water, and heaven as well. Philosophers thought these gods controlled all the functions of the whole world. They urged that different gods performed different tasks (Krishna, 2015).

Before the occurrence of Big Bang, the scientist had a belief that the entire vastness of the universe which was observable with all its matter was compressed in one hot and dense mass. The birth of world took place when Big Bang was extremely hot, compact point. When the universe was just a few microseconds old, which billions of years ago, experienced a burst and expanded through a process call inflation through which space expanded at a faster rate than light. At this particular period, the universe increased in size, approximately 90 times, moving from subatomic proportion to the extent of golf, instantaneously (Krishna, 2015).

More understanding of this comes from a combination of theoretical physics as well as direct observations from astronomers. In few cases, though astronomers have failed to observe immediate evidence like in the case of gravitational waves in association with microwave background, the radiation which was left from the Big Bang (Choi, 2017).

After inflation, the universe continued growing but a slow rate. With space expansion, the world cooled, and matter started forming. Seconds after the Big Bang, this universe was full of neutrons, protons, and electrons. During the first 350000 years, the world was extremely hot such that no light could shine in it (Choi, 2017).

The heat from creation violently crushed the atoms together breaking them up into dense plasma, an opaque layer made of protons neutrons and electrons, through which light was scattered all over, like a fog. 400 million years after the Big Bang took place, the universe started emerging from vast darkness and stars, and galaxies were formed (Choi, 2017).

Is there an order?

The universe was made with -0- entropy, which means it was made in perfect order. It is, however, been going through a gradual increase in entropy with time. The universe is like a computational machine, with its vastness unfolding and interacting with sets of universal rules. All that took place is just an instance of ongoing happenings across the infinite space. Everything took place in a perfect way following those rules (Helligar, 2015).

One could ask, is like a stream of random events which haphazardly ensues one another? There is a purpose behind it all and philosophy gives the truth about this affirming that the universe we are in is purposed with order and not just a caprice. The world is orderly, not accidental, all of its movements are measured, and events plotted with all creatures developed in a well-calculated objective. Without immutable laws, all these could not be possible. There is a mechanism within the universe which is invisible with a brilliant mind running these processes (Helligar, 2015).

The universe would not be in existence if there were no state of equilibrium holding it all together, things balancing the rotation and spinning of the earth through its axis and all the planets around the sun. If planets, land, and moon came into existence without any direction, then there could be no pattern and positions and well-guided rhythm is their movements.  There would be confusion during light and darkness, and much more chaos would be experienced (Helligar, 2015).

Metaphysics

Metaphysics is a study of fundamental nature of all reality. It explains what fact is the best way how we can understand it.  It has been said that metaphysics is the study of invisible nature which is behind everything we can see. This term, philosophy has been derived from a Greek Ta Meta Ta Physkia, meaning “Books after the books of nature” Originally; this was not a subject by any means, but just a collection of different notes on different topic issues which were explicitly taken from both ordinary sense perception and empirical observation (Cline, 2017).

From the philosophical point of view, we all have metaphysical perspective through which we understand the nature of universe and reality because we do have an opinion about it. However, there is no agreement among different metaphysicians because this subject is more controversial than any other area of study (Cline, 2017).

Some irreligious atheists have been arguing that the main agenda of metaphysics is majorly pointless and cannot bring about anything. According to this belief, metaphysical statements cannot by any chance be true or false. There is some justification for this opinion, but it is tough to convince religious theists who claim metaphysic constitute essential parts of their lives. The only thing atheist do have in common is their disbelief in the existence of gods. They, therefore, agree as one that does exclude the presence of gods and it is not divinely created. They have no spiritual life, everything to them is natural and it constitutes a physical energy which drives all things. All affect proceeds through natural laws (Cline, 2017).

Metaphysics is separated into three main segments namely: ontology, theology in addition universal science. Ontology is a philosophical study of nature of beings, presence, and reality as well. The word is derived from a Greek word meaning fact and logos which involves the study of. Atheists do believe that there is only one reality and that is a material and natural. Just like ontology, theology is a philosophical study of the divine (Cline, 2017).

From this study, people believe that all things were created by a supernatural being with power and intelligence more magnificent than any living creature in the whole universe. The knowledge of the existence of gods is brought into the limelight. Every religion has its theology because they have different gods. Universal science, on the other hand, is a branch of metaphysics which goes beyond the contemplation of general science and pursues to deliver a bigger picture   of universe and its constituent realities. It is a bit hard to understand since it goes the level of searching “first principles” which include the origin of the universe, fundamental laws of reasoning and logic (Cline, 2017).

The origin of the universe

There exist several cosmological representations alongside history that explain the origin of the universe. The development of these ideas concerning the origin of the universe might be assumed as successive theories like the earth being flat and not round, the geocentric theory and the heliocentric and the galacto-centric models. In the previous century, an idea was established and was referred to as the big-bang concept, this is a theory that defines the most cultured explanations present in the current day and demonstrates that the universe had past source that elaborated with the use of scientific means. In the current eras, the big bang model was advanced to a new conception: inflation. New discoveries have indicated that all identified substance is simply a small part in a universe that is subjugated by dark energy and dark substance whose origin continues to be a mystery (Choi, 2017).
