The Second Sino-Japanese War was a military conflict fought primarily between the Republic of China and the Empire Japan from 1937 to 1945. This was a battle staged by the Japanese troops against those of China due to various disagreements, Japanese was sorting some access to raw materials and food from China and on the other hand China was trying its best to expand its territories. This resulted to Nanking Massacre that entailed mass killing and mass raping of the Chinese. Japanese troops captured Nanjing which was then the capital city of China and within six weeks they had killed large fractions of the population of Chinese.
